STM32 ST-LINK is a programming and debugging software package for STM32 microcontrollers. It provides the PC-side drivers, command-line tools, and IDE integrations needed to communicate with ST-LINK probes (on-board or external) over SWD/JTAG. With it, you can flash and verify firmware, erase memory, configure option bytes and readout protection, and control program execution for debugging (run, halt, step, and breakpoints). It integrates with popular toolchains such as STM32CubeIDE, Keil MDK, IAR EWARM, and GCC/GDB workflows. Current support is delivered through the ST-LINK drivers and STM32CubeProgrammer for Windows, Linux, and macOS, and the package includes utilities to update probe firmware for compatibility and performance.

STM32 ST-LINK is developed by STMicroelectronics. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 4.0, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5 and 4.6. The name of the program executable file is STM32 ST-LINK Utility.exe.
